4th of July Picnic-in-the-Park
Our annual potluck picnic for members, friends and our sister Gay Asian organizations, a tradition going back more than twenty years.
Get ready to have a fantastic time at the annual July 4th Picnic-in-the-Park, hosted by A/PGF! We’re thrilled to welcome all our members, friends, and extend a warm invitation to our sister Gay Asian organizations to join us for this joyful occasion.
Bring a dish to share
We’re continuing the tradition of a potluck, so please bring a delicious dish or prepared entree to share with others. Make sure you bring enough to feed 4 to 6 people, and if you’re bringing meats or fresh fruits, it’s helpful to have them pre-cut since we don’t have cooking facilities on-site. Don’t worry about beverages: A/PGF will provide a selection of soft drinks and water.
Where to find us
The Bette Davis Picnic Area, 1500 Riverside Drive, Glendale 91201, where Riverside Drive and Victory Blvd intersect, just across the LA River from Griffith Park. Keep an eye out for the A/PGF banner and flags, so you know you’re in the right place!
Don’t forget your sunglasses, sunscreen, and chairs or blankets to relax on. It’s a day filled with socializing, fun activities, and games.
Come as a guest. Stay as family.
Guests are welcome at up to three events. Membership starts at $30 a year and includes free Member Benefit events.
